Description
Chairs are an object we use in our everyday living. This class makes Yoga more accessible for those that perhaps are unable to stand, sit on the floor, want to move behind a desk at work, or use a wheelchair. Chair Yoga allows the body and mind to experience a guided practice of breathing in movement and stillness, stretching and strengthening by putting together some of Yoga’s classical postures (Asana) while being seated in a chair. The class concludes with a seated meditation and relaxation.
